HISTORY OF THE COMPANY R.T.Exports Limited (RTEL) was incorporated as a private limited company on 1st May 1980 and converted to a public limited company with effect from 18th December 1992.The company has been engaged in the business of export and import of agricultural products since incorporation. The sales of the company have increased from Rs .32 lacs in 1980-81 to Rs 878.36 lacs in 1992-93.The company was a partner during 1984-1992 in M/S Rice Land .M/S Rice Land was engaged in the business of warehousing of agricultural commodities .Further the company was also a partner of M/S Tulsidas during 1989-92. In April '92 the company withdrew ffrom the partnerships and started concentrating on direct exports by getting rice processed from other millers on job work basis.Direct exports have picked up from Rs 155 lacs in 1991-92 to Rs 878 lacs in 1992-93.With the increase in turnover and demand for quality products the Company proposes to set up its own milling plant. The company is an existing ,profit making ,dividend paying Company
The Company is a part of R.T.GROUP .The Company has an added advantage of Group's established marketing network and established customer base.
2023 -Company name changed to Neelkanth Ltd. from R T Exports Ltd..
