The Company has elected to exercise the option permitted under Section 115BAA of the hi come Tax Act, 1961 as introduced by the Taxation Laws (Amendment) ordinance, 2019. Accordingly, the company has recognized the provision for income tax for the year ended March 31, 2022 and remeasured its deferred tax basis the rate prescribed in the aforesaid section._

NOTE 24 : Earnings per share (EPS)

Basic EPS amounts are calculated by dividing the profit for the year attributable to equity shareholders of the Company by the weighted average number of equity shares outstanding during the year.

Diluted EPS amounts are calculated by dividing the profit attributable to equity holders of the Company by the weighted average number of Equity shares outstanding during the year plus the weighted average number of Equity shares that would be issued on conversion of all the dilutive potential _Equity shares into Equity shares._
