The Company manufactures industrial plastics, raw material such
as phenolic moulding materials polyester resins and other allied,
products and industrial and decorative laminates.

The Company was incorporated on 18th June, 1947 under the name of Hyderabad Laminated Products Limited and commenced commercial operation
from Jan' 1952. The Company was then managed by Khan Bahadhur
Ahmed Alladin and Company in their capacity as managing agents.

The Managing Agency was transferred to Best-Grompton Private
Limited in March, 1952 in which capacity they continue to manage
the company till October 1968. Since the Company is being managed
by a Managing Director. In 1969 Bakelite (India) Private Limited,
the erstwhile sole selling agents of the Company was merged with
the Company and the Company's name was changed to Bakelite Hylam
Limited.

The collaboration of the Company are Bakelite Ltd of U K,
Sterling Varnish Company Limited of U K and Umehiko Company
Limited of Japan.

The Company also has 2 subsidiary by the name Extra Trading and Finance Company Limited and Vindhyagiri Investment Company
Limited. During the 1989-90 the Company commenced trial
production of surface coating material and these were introduced
under the brand name "Heritage" in the market. The Company
co-promoted along with the West Bengal IDC Ltd, a project for the
manufacture of a acrylic fibre which made considerable headway
during 1988-89. During 1989-90 the project was on schedule.

2010

-Company has changed its name from Bakelite Hylam Ltd. to Sanathnagar Enterprises Ltd.

2013

-Registered Address of the Company has changed from Lodha Belleza, East Block, Eden Square, Off Kukatpally Housing Board Road (KPHB), Hyderabad - 500072 Andhra Pradesh to 216, Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate, Dr. E. Moses Road, Worli, Mumbai - 400018.

2015
-The Company has approved the change in registered office of the Company from 216, Shah & Nahar Ind. Est., Dr. E. Moses road, Worli, Mumbai - 400018 to 412, Floor- 4, 17G, Vardhaman Chamber, Cawasji Patel Road, Horniman Circle, Fort, Mumbai -400001.
